As most of my friends know, I have been taking a week off from work and I still got this week to relax. I honestly haven't been doing much so far. Like previously stated: just slobbing around. The only thing I managed to produce in this time was a nasty hangover for saturday. That is, until yesterday.
One of my other sites had a rather flexible data-design, that allowed the site to be fully multilingual without too much hassle. In the end I never used it, so it was just excess code that complicated matters needlessly.
So yesterday I did a full DB-redesign, updated the entire site to reflect that, added some new features that I have been planning to add for a long time and basivly just got things done. That felt pretty good actually.
With all this renewed energy I'm having these days, who knows where it will end? I've even been making something that resembles proper food lately instead of frozen pizzas. Today I plan to do the laundry, the dishes and maybe even vacuum my apartment.
Even though every plan I've had for my vacation sorta failed, at least I got something out of it, and that makes it all worthwhile for me.
