Since new-years I've gotten a new job as a senior consultant in a company named Crayon.
As it should be, I'll probably get some new challenges, get a little more hands-on work done and not to mention: a few new neat toys to play with.
My two newest toys are these: A Dell Latitude D820 laptop, and a HTC MTeoR Windows Mobile 5 cellphone.
The laptop itself is probably the neatest piece of PC hardware I've ever had the pleasure of "owning" myself. It has a Intel Curo2Duo 2GHz CPU, 2GBs of RAM and 1920x1200 display. This thing played a 1920x1080p 120fps clip (encoding-wise, not real fps), the "Otsuka Ai - Love is born"-concert, without a hitch. Pretty sweet.
As for the cellphone being a Window Mobile 5 cellphone, I can now install the .NET Compact Framework on it and hack my own .NET-applications for the cellphone in Visual Studio. Upcoming projects are a gmail checking plugin and a port of my Windows-based Japanese-English off-line dictionary.
This will be fun.
